State Increases to Minimum Wages in 2024

 

Each state, and in some cases each city, is responsible for setting its own minimum wage laws.  Below are each state’s minimum wage listings with upcoming changes noted.  Dates are provided since changes go into effect at different times in different states.  Depending on your state, you may also have to check the law in your city to see if there is a different minimum wage for your particular city.

 

Alabama

No state minimum wage law / FLSA employers pay the Federal minimum of $7.25 per hour.
